Salary: £37,000 – £40,000 (2024 pay grade)

Role Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Chartered Planner with at least two years of experience and a solid understanding of the planning system, or a Licentiate Planner working towards RTPI status with at least three years of experience. In this role, you will lead small to medium-scale planning applications, overseeing all aspects of project management, while supporting senior colleagues on larger, more complex energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the preparation and submission of small to medium-scale planning applications, coordinating with team members and ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Support for Larger Projects: Assist senior colleagues with tasks on complex TCPA, DNS, and NSIP applications.
  • Planning Strategy: Contribute to planning strategies, identify key planning issues, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Written Communication: Produce high-quality written work, subject to review and approval by senior colleagues.
  • Client Interaction: Attend community engagement events, client meetings, and project discussions under the supervision of senior colleagues.
  • Networking: Actively grow your professional network and identify opportunities to promote the business externally.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Planning Consultants, Graduate Consultants, and Administrators to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Organizational Skills: Manage and prioritize your workload effectively, delegating tasks as appropriate to junior colleagues.
