Role Summary:
As a Graduate Planner, you will be at the heart of our team, working under the supervision of experienced planners to support a range of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to a variety of tasks including:
- Preparing and managing planning applications.
- Supporting the team in preparing large scale NSIP, DNS, SIP and major TCPA applications for energy and infrastructure development.
- Assisting with project administration, such as filing, scheduling, and meeting notes.
- Supporting community engagement events and planning strategies.
- Developing your professional network and participating in business development initiatives.
You’ll gain hands-on experience, contribute to innovative projects, and work towards achieving full membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
Who We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Degree-level education, ideally RTPI-accredited or participating in an RTPI apprenticeship.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks with guidance.
- Personality: A proactive learner eager to develop professionally and expand your network.
- Writing Skills: Competent written communication, with support provided for editing and accuracy.
